Dennis Union Church is pleased to announce that the Annual Auction & Bazaar will return this year on Saturday, August 14. The Auction is a beloved tradition on Cape Cod, with hundreds of church members, family and community members working together each year to make the center of Dennis Village a destination for antique lovers and bargain hunters alike and to help our neighbors by raising funds to assist local organizations.
As in years past, the sale will commence at 9:00 a.m. sharp when the church bell rings. The Bazaar will feature books, jewelry, sports equipment, household items, holiday decorations, tools, furniture, and bargain tables where treasures of all kinds can be purchased. The Boutique in Fellowship Hall will feature fine china, crystal and collectibles and the Country Store will have homemade pies, jams and jellies, craft items and fresh produce for sale. Food offerings include coffee and donuts as the sale begins and burgers and hot dogs from the Breakaway Grill Truck starting at 11:00 a.m.
The Auction portion of the sale will start at 10:00 a.m. “under the tent” when antiques, paintings and other choice items are sold with a live auctioneer. In addition to the live auction on August 14, there will be a Silent Auction featuring items and services donated by Church members and local businesses that will go live online starting at noon on August 6. Online bidders will have until 2 pm on August 13 to make their bids for the items offered online.
