Education & Fellowship
The goal of the adult Christian education program at DUC is to help participants grow in faith and share our faith in God with the world around us. To this end, we strive to be an open-door church, actively reaching out and welcoming all persons. Our adult Christian education courses are planned and presented with this in mind.
The Activities Committee works to plan, promote, and coordinate social fellowship within the church with programs and special activities. They sponsor the Quilt Show during the annual Apple Festival each autumn, coordinate brunches and dinner get-togethers in homes, and plan trips and outings for DUC members and friends.
Second Sunday, Second Hour is our name for individual classes or a series of presentations that are periodically scheduled for the second Sunday in a month from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm after worship service and fellowship. Topics may be religious or secular in nature and can be presented by Dennis Union Church staff or outside experts.
