Dennis Union Church is an Open and Affirming Congregation – All are welcome!

Worship at DUC

Worship Services

Worship services at Dennis Union Church are Sundays at 10:00 am, followed by coffee and conversation in Fellowship Hall or outside on our front patio during the summer months.

DUC offers a live stream broadcast every Sunday morning, starting at 10:00 am. If you are a regular viewer of our service and would like copies of the hymns in order to sing along, please call the church office at 508-385-3543.
Our home page has connections to watch our worship service live and also to view previous services whenever it is convenient for you.

Our worship services are a place of warm welcome, contemplation and a blend of tradition and creative liturgy, music and proclamation of the Word.

Children are welcome to join their parents for worship.  Child care for ages birth to 2 or 3 years of age is available in our Crib Room adjacent to the sanctuary. Most Sundays, children from pre-K to 9th Grade gather for A Word for the Young in worship and then go on to classes and activities downstairs.

Following worship, all are invited to Fellowship Hour for coffee and conversation.  This is a way to meet our congregation members and learn more about the programs and ministries of our church.

Communion

At Dennis Union Church, we often use these words to extend our extravagant welcome to the communion table:

This is the Lord’s table, so the invitation comes from Jesus Christ himself, and it is always the same.  Come as you are.  It does not matter where you have been or where you are going.  It does not matter what you have done or left undone.  It does not matter if you view yourself as a success or failure in this life.  There is always room at the table for you.  All you need to be to come to this table is hungry.  God will do the rest.

Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month. Everyone and all ages are welcome.

Communion is passed to the congregation at most services; we offer regular and gluten-free bread and a non-alcoholic cup.  Children leave Sunday School and rejoin their families in worship for Communion.
