Dennis Union Church is an Open and Affirming Congregation – All are welcome!

Our theme for this year’s stewardship campaign is Growing in Faith Together.

Your pledge makes a significant impact on the active and faithful ministry at DUC.  Though the past few years brought unexpected challenges, we are grateful that as a church community we have grown in our mission to embody God’s love in our community and world.

We continue to put our trust in God, hold fast to our commitment to one another, and grow in new ways to expand our ministries.  We are grateful for your generosity in 2022 which made it all possible. We ask you to prayerfully consider your 2023 pledge with a sense of gratitude, trust and growth for our church.

With God in our midst, let us join together in Growing in Faith Together.

Pick up a pledge card at DUC or contact the office to have one mailed to you.

There are several options:

  1. Use a donation envelope to give cash or a check on Sundays.
  2. Set up an automatic withdrawal from your bank directly to DUC.
  3. On the DUC website GIVING page, enroll in the Vanco system to give with your credit card or bank account.
  4. To give from your IRA – instruct your financial institution to write a check and send it directly to DUC.  This can be done monthly or quarterly — and payments directly from an IRA may not incur taxes.  Check with your financial advisor.

Over 75% of the annual Church budget comes from pledges.  The budget covers all ministry expenses including salaries, church maintenance, utilities and numerous activities including missions.

Pledging is the only way that the Finance Committee can adequately create a budget for the coming year.  That is why we are asking to receive pledges by November.  This gives our planners the confidence they need to fund each line item.  Giving, without pledging that amount in advance, can result in restricted activity planning.
