On Sunday September 17, Dennis Union Church will host an Energy Café: An Environmental Justice Initiative in Fellowship Hall, following 10 am worship services. The program from Faith Communities Environmental Network (FCEN) focuses on how to make our homes and buildings more energy efficient, healthier, more comfortable and save on energy bills. The FCEN program is funded by a grant from MassSave® sponsors Cape Light Compact and National Grid.
Judith Holt and Nancy Davison, a volunteer energy ambassador from Dennis Union Church, will share information about:
- What is energy efficiency, why it’s important, and why it’s an equity issue
- How you can get a no-cost home energy assessment
- How to access rebates, incentives and services that help reduce your energy usage and save money on utility bills.
These programs are available to everyone with an electric bill in their name, whether you rent or own your home, live in an apartment or condominium.
Sign up is easy and everyone who signs up will receive a $25 gift certificate!
